GRI unveils wider solid tire for forklifts

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Industrial tire maker Global Rubber Industries Pvt. Ltd. (GRI) has developed a wider solid tire, the Globestar Wide Tread (WT), that it said is particularly effective in high-load forklift applications. Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) has again claimed the No. 1 spot on Modern’s annual list of the Top 20 lift truck suppliers, as KION Group held second place with nearly double the revenues of third-place finisher Jungheinrich.
